Microchip question
Tetsu was laying next to me, and I went to pet him and fond what felt to be a small hard lump between the shoulder blade and the elbow. Upon further probing it felt more like a grain of rice, instead of the round bead feeling that are more consistent with cysts. I'm assuming that it may be his microchip, as I can't think of what else it could be.
I had the chip implanted in Tetsu when I got him fixed at 6 months, he is almost 10 months now. Whenever Tikaani plays with Tetsu, he always grabs the scruff of the neck and pulls and shakes like he would a toy.
Both of them have a chip called ResQ, of which is the only chip my vet puts in animals now. I have brought the dogs to a couple of nearby shelters, and confirmed that their scanners can read the chips.
My question is this, could the dogs roughhousing cause the chip to travel or does this generally happen when a chip is injected into a still growing pups?

nikki has 2 microchips, both Japanese and the one from the base, i was a lil worried when i 1st felt it but later figured it was just the microchip.
i recently took nikki for her yearly shots and asked the vet about it, the vet said if they are still pup & growing, and mess arnd the shoulder area a lot when they play, the chip may move a lil and it shouldnt matter
