Long Time No Post/Mika's Surgery
Hello everyone. It has been quite some time since I have lurked or posted anything here but I hope all is doing well. I have been finishing up school lately so I haven't been doing much of anything. I have noticed how this forum has grown so much in just the last few months and it's exciting.
Also, I haven't posted in a while because there simply hasn't been any Mika news. However, she got spayed this morning and I am currently waiting to pick her up. I was just wondering, does anyone have any advice or tips or how Mika might act or just anything that I need to know? I am already feeling bad because she went into the vet with her tail wagging this morning. I felt like I betrayed her when I left, haha. I just wanted to make a new post and update everyone on Mika as well as soak up some of the invaluable advice that resides here. Here is a new pic of Mika and I will update this thread later with pics of her post-surgery. Thanks in advance for any replies.

Mika should be fine.. just keep her activity to a minimum, no jumping or the like, for at least a week. Watch the incision, should she aggravate it she'll probably need a cone and see the vet for antibiotics as to not infect the site. Other than that, after a day or so with the pain, she should be back to normal!
Good luck!
Miss Mika is SO pretty! Thanks for posting a pic for us to see how big she is getting.
Hope all is well with you too. Welcome back!
I had some bad luck with Keiko's spay because the glue they used for her didn't hold (twice...) so there were multiple trips back to the vet and even to the E-vet in the middle of the night.
I'm sure everything will work out just fine!! Keep an eye on her, and I can't wait to see more spam! )
