Do you know of this breeder?

Brandon,
I'm only asking since you know shiba owners in WI... have you ever heard anything about Hi-Jinx Shibas?

If you don't want to say, thats totally fine.. the woman who now owns Hachi is considering another shiba pup, preferably black and tan. I know this breeder is known for their black and tans, but don't know much else about them.

Thanks!

I know Pat and Karen personally. I know Pat a bit better though. Many of my friends have Hi-Jinx Shibas. Nemo's friend Takara is a Hi-Jinx. My aunt and uncle had both of their Shibas from there too. They are the most people affectionate Shibas I have ever met. Her grandkids who she babysits help her raise them and name them, so they are very used to children too. I cannot think of one that I've met with a bad temperament to be honest. Of course sometimes they get snarky with other dogs, all dogs do, and her bitches tend to be princesses, but again, they love people.

She should just go ahead and e-mail Pat with any questions. I'm sure Pat will be able to provide any answers that she needs.

Also Pat has taken Best in Show at Shiba Nationals more than once, so her dogs are top of the line for standard and such too, well the show quality ones anyhow. Non-show quality are sold at pet prices and spayed or neutered. She doesn't breed out of standard dogs.

If you come to the picnic you will most likely be able to meet Pat and a lot of her dogs. Usually she brings puppies or young Shibas every year and they get a lot of attention. Also many people who have purchased dogs from her come too.

Thats awesome, thanks so much Brandon!

I think she has emailed them, if not I'll suggest she do so.

I think Pam is considering joining us in August, though I'm not 100% sure. I'll let her know of Hi-Jinxs' presence at the picnic! She'll be excited.
