Love the commercials! I wish I had a translator, but what fun to see the doggies performing! (I'm a banker, but I can tell right now none of our commercials are nearly as entertaining as these!)...

Hokkaido popularity (in Japan) after this commercials is growing very fast. From almost unknown japanese breed in few days they get national attention.

    Guess what?

Hokkaido was a movie star a long before those commercials :)

Recently (thanks to hokkaido inu fan from Czech Republic) i have found that there was in late 70's a tv series called Goro the White dog (Ougon no Inu), director Shigeyuki Yamane.

The whole story is about 12 years old girl and her white hokkaido inu. Based on the novel by Jukou Nishimura. - In Hokkaido, a office clerk attaches a micro film to the collar of his white hunting dog. The film is the evidence of a corruption and smuggling weapons into Japan. Then the owner of the dog is killed, by yakuza hitmans. His daughter and Goro (hokka) are running away from killers. The dog heads for Tokyo based on his instinct for search of killed man brother.

Series has 9 episodes, each one is telling story how Goro is helping the girl (japanese version of Lassie :)

    Here promo from Czech television

    And some pictures

PLEASE HELP ME FIND THIS!!!!! I MUST SEE IT :)
