Search Engine?

How the heck do I work this thing? I was looking for something Jessica said before but it wasn't showing up on the search results. If I searched for a word in her post the thread pops up but it wasn't her post and if I search it specifically through her comments nothing pops up. I found the post, I know she said the search word but the search engine says nope.

I was searching for something Dave said a couple days ago and I thought I was just sucking at searching (since I couldn't remember what exactly he said) but now I'm starting to think it just didn't pop up all relevant results.

    On the search page, to the right, there is an "Advanced" link. Did you try that?

    I did right now since you mentioned it and still no search results found :( And it's not like I'm looking for the word shiba or something that's going to pop up 2 million times on here.
