Hey CSM, I forgot you'd be in the UK this week! Unfortunately it looks like we wont actually have Tiger over the weekend your here but if that changes and you're available we'll drive him up to give you some doggy-loving to help the stress of leaving your beautiful pup :(!

    Hope your enjoying your visit!

Yeah for the Spud. I love the way that sounds. The Spud. Say it again slowly now. The....SPUD....The.....SPUD. I'm amused by simple things.

So we got her back this moring...not only had they lost the puppia harness with the license tag on it, but when we got home, i noticed she had a 5 inch (if not more) fairly fresh-ish gash running down her inner leg....needless to say we brought her back, my vet was out so the head/owner vet and another vet checked her out, and found the harness. They are now investigating...as it's a bizzare wound. She's ok, it scabbed over...but it must have happened somewhere btwn Friday and Sunday, as it scabbed over but is still farily fresh.... oh and they had given her something for her diahrea as she was stressed...wish they had told me..

anyway, just wanted to share...sigh..never again

Awww, glad The Spud is okay. I am SOOOO glad we have a doggy sitter, I remember the days of having to board dogs and it was really awful!

Next time just drive her up to me and I will take really great care of her! :) All forum member dogs are allowed to crash at my house any time :)

Don't hate on your vet too much for the wound. You know how puppies get when they're in un-known place. Sometimes they get a little riley and get hurt. When I worked at the kennel, every so often a dog would get a scratch due to either another dog, or they were doing something naughty. They definitely should've addressed the issue and told you though.

Thanks Jenny, your input does help alot..i wasn't sure if I should hate the vet.I was told she was very energetic and bouncing around so perhaps that's what happened. I guess it's not that bad since the 2nd time we went back she was fine and dragged me to the kennel area to have another sniff.

    Joe/Dawn, thanks :)

    Irene,

So now you kinda understand why we hassle ourselves to take the dogs with us even onto planes.. ;)

But seriously, I would be stressed out too otherwise..
