Did you try jogging her a bit? Someone else was mentioning that when their dogs don't poop, they jog them (just in case they are trying to hold it in for some reason). Jogging always loosens the bowels a little. How is her energy level?
I know it sounds mean, but why not feed Keiko something that will give him the runs. Like another brand of dog food or a steak or something. If you know it's not gonna kill him, and am willing to deal with the mess, why not
I actually did try jogging this morning... she jogged for about half a foot and then put on the Shiba brakes.
The vet wants us to see how tonight goes and if nothing happens bring her in in the morning. She usually goes right away when she gets any sort of sweet potato, so I'm not sure if anything else would make a huge difference or not.
She's really not acting completely out of the ordinary - aside from wanting to be with me last night.
They didn't say why they suggested such a large quantity... but the vet (actual doctor) just called us back.
He said he's really not worried because she's acting normal (playing, going on walks etc) but if we were really concerned after tomorrow they would give her a laxative. He was fairly hesitant to do that, not really sure why. She really isn't showing any signs of being uncomfortable ... and I think I was reading too much into her wanting to sit on my lap last night - she sit on my lap every night lol!
I'm hoping that maybe the excitement of our neighbor coming over (for our two person knitting and wine party) will help stimulate her. She always seemed to want to go at training when she got really excited.

Four meals today and still no poop... If she doesn't go by the time the vet opens in the morning I'll call them to see what they want to do (
She's been fairly active today, and no vomiting ... but of course that doesn't mean anything to me since I'm no expert.
And then monster wanted to sleep near me... but on her own!
Any poop yet?
Guess it's time to call the vet again.
