Dog places in Baltimore

edited September 2009 in General
Brian has family in Baltimore so we bring Violet when we go. Most of the time we just hang out around the house but I thought this might be a good place to find out what places are good for dogs in the area. Does anyone know about good dog parks, restaurants with outdoor seating that allow dogs, fun puppy shops, or any other sorts of places they've enjoyed taking their dogs in the area (city or county)?

I checked dogfriendly.com and got lots of stuff! Dog parks, restaurants and couple stores (besides the Petco/Petsmart variety) too! Have a good time!

There a a few cool places in Annapolis that I know of (about a 25 minute drive from Baltimore). There is a boutique off Main Street down town called PAWS and there is also a restraunt with a huge patio (probably closing soon if its not already) called Sly Fox Pub and they allow dogs in the entire outdoor area. There is also a great fenced dog park inside Quiet Waters Park. They have big areas for both small and large dogs (I dont have mine yet, but I do go with friends from time to time and the owners and animals all seem to be pretty great) Main Street is also a very dog friendly place. Most of the stores put out bowls with treats and water and some will even allow your dog into the shop.
