The long haul is over

edited November 2009 in General
Well I was gone for awhile due to my mother in law battling liver cancer. Yesterday she lost her battle and passed away.

My wife and I have been caring for her for the last few months and now my wife and kids are on the path to healing.

On the brighter note, I will be acquiring a new member to the pack of hunters. I will be getting a new male Kishu pup named Taro from the same great person that Shigeru san got Haru.

Soon as I get pics I will post up.

Gen, I heard about your mother-in-law from Nolly.

So sorry to hear about your family's loss.

I was pleasantly surprised when I found out one of the other pups was going to you. It sure is a small world.
The pups are firecrackers all of them, and I'm sure they'll be a great addition to your pack.

It's great to have you back on the forum.

First of all, I'm sorry to hear about your mother in law. My best wishes to your whole family during this healing process.

Second of all, congrats on the bada$$ Kishu! I've been growing increasingly fond of them recently, so I look forward to hearing about your experiences with your pup.

Sorry to hear about you MIL. Hopefully your family heals well & she's in a better place now <3

Congrats on the pup tho! The world of Nihon Ken appears to be very small & well-knit. How awesome is that? This forum has helped keep contacts together too which is also awesome :) Happy hunting Gen! ~

Thanks every one. Yeah very small world. I am super excited about the new addition to the pack of predators!

Its been a tough few months. We had to rent out our original house and move every one into my mother in laws house. My father in law passed from cancer about the same time last year so it really hit every one hard.

Thanks every one for your kind words.

I'm sorry to hear about your parent in laws battles over cancer.

For every loss there is something to gain, may the bond within your family be that much closer and may you continue to live for each other.

Congrats on the upcoming Kishu pup, I wish you all the best!
