Vegetarian/vegan
Hey Jessica,
I remembered an old thread where there was some discussion as to vegetarian/vegan eating habits. Would you have any suggestions for books regarding the topic which are pretty legit in their data? I have had some health issues of late and have had to cut out a great deal of dairy and have gone mostly organic. I have cut down a lot on meat too. It is helping, but I am still having issues. I was thinking of trying to go vegetarian at least, but was not sure where to begin. I saw Alicia Silverstone's book 'the kind diet', and thought about purchasing it. However, I wanted to check with someone who knew more about the subject than myself.
Thanks,
Amber

I do have a number of cookbooks I really like.
The Veganomicon, by Isa Chandra Moskowitz. She also has a great blog called the post punk kitchen.

These are fabulous. I also would strongly recommend taking supplements. I do take fish oil (the only things that can not be effectively supplements by plant means are certain OFA's), then I also take a B complex, a multivitamin, and Calcium.
Please feel free to ask any questions. I will answer as best I can.
Do you have recommendations on make-up products? I wasn't sure if you did vegan make-up as well...
thanks,
Amber
