Ten Promises To My Dog
I was reading my new book that I got and found this "Ten Promises To My Dog." I believe it's also called "The Ten Commandments of Owning a Dog." I don't know if anyone else posted this, but I'll share it anyways. I guess there are different versions of it but I'll use the one from the book.
Ten Promises To My Dog
1. Please have a long relationship with me.
2. Please trust in me. That alone makes me happy.
3. Please remember that I have feelings too.
4. When I'm disobedient, there is a reason.
5. Please talk to me as much as you can. Even though I can't speak your words, I understand.
6. Remember before you hit me that I have teeth that can hurt you that I choose not to use.
7. Please stay with me even when I'm old.
8. I don't go to school, and I don't have friends. Please remember, I have only you.
9. I only live for about ten years. Please spend as much time with me as you can.
10. Please be my side when I'm dying. And please remember that I always loved you.

Side-note: Lupin reminds me SO MUCH of Shoushuu! lol. I'm gonna teach Shoushuu, "Wallet!" =]
hmm, I'm sick today at home...maybe I'll start catching up
That's a really cool list though. Something I'll probably copy down and put on my refridgerator when I get home :D.
* Spoiler Alert *
It’s the story of a girl and her puppy, Socks, a golden retriever. As she grows up she becomes more interested in her work, she moves away and spends less time with her dog. She returns home when Socks is passing away and finds the book with the promises she made to Socks, that she drew when she was younger. The ending is sad, it reminds us to appreciate every moment we spend with our furry friends.
