In memory -- dedicated to pets who have crossed the rainbow bridge

edited May 2010 in General
My husband planted an apple tree at our farm to honor our dog, Joe; and his buddy,Tyson (owned by a dear friend and co-owner of the farm). Both dogs had the time of their lives at the farm as they and our daughters were growing up. And they were both mindful of the need to "guard the house". From the number of blossoms this year and the number of bees around when the tree was in full bloom I expect there will be some apples to enjoy this fall, and we will reminisce about the joy these dogs brought into our lives before crossing the bridge ahead of us.

Rest in peace-- Joe and Tyson!

Apple Tree for Joe and Tyson

    That's really beautiful!

I'd like to think of something to do to honor my Kai, but its too soon yet for me to be able to think about it--he's only been gone a week :(

Right now I'd just like to get my girl Shiba to not act like a crazy thing as she has been since we lost him, but I know it will take time for her to adjust, as it will for us all....

Apple trees are a great way to remember your dogs. =)
