kibble for snakes?!
Well I've read about these snake sausages on some reptile magazine never really looked much into it I found it weird.
Here's it's website
http://www.naturalbalanceinc.com/zoological/reptilediet.html
Ingredients:
Beef, Beef Hearts, Beet Pulp, Tricalcium Phosphate, Ground Flaxseed Meal, Sodium Chloride, Collagen, Choline Chloride, Taurine, Vitamins (Vitamin E Supplement, L-Ascorbyl-2 Polyphosphate (source of Vitamin C), Vitamin A and D-3 Supplement, Niacin, Riboflavin, Pyridoxine Hydrochloride, Thiamine Mononitrate, d-Calcium Pantothenate, Folic Acid, Biotin), Minerals (Iron Sulfate, Iron Proteinate, Manganese Sulfate, Manganese Proteinate, Copper Sulfate, Copper Proteinate, Calcium Iodate, Sodium Selenite.
No offense to people who feed Natural Balance to your dogs, but I just find it odd someone would feed their snake these.. the ingredients seem wrong it should be mice or rats, heck even baby chicks.. I dunno..
I just can't imagine ever feeding this to my three snakes well two now Yoshi is dead lived for 15 or 17 years of age. He was my first corn snakes. My other two are both 6 or 9 years old I need to check when I bought them..
I guess for someone who likes snakes, but don't like feeding snakes mice this might be great, but I think some snakes would have a hard time eating something like this I know some snakes can have a hard time eating a mouse sometimes you gotta get lizard scent on the mouse or pinkie to get the snake to eat it..
What are your thoughts on this?
Here's a picture of Bakura my second snake he's pretty friendly just like my Yoshi and well Jade my female corn I can handle her, but she prefers to be in her tank climbing on her wood and hanging on it..

Yeah, I would've never fed that to any of my snakes [ or current snake ]. What do snakes in the wild eat? Mice...birds...rats...other snakes...lizards...etc. Seems weird to feed them something else. [ I think Tiamat would turn his nose up at that too lol ] ~
*totally taking over* I got a snake today!
Snakes are freaking awesome, and I would love to have one as a pet... However, I am NOT okay with feeding live prey or having frozen rats in my freezer... Which is why I do not have a snake as a pet.
