Kibou needs a playmate

Kibou needs a playmate now! Wanted to know if there is any Kai-Ken rescue orgs. in the country, looking for a Kai or Kai mix female that is around a year or 2 years old, over 40lbs. Our Cattle dog is no longer with us, and Kibou is all alone which will be tough when I am at work all day. Willing to drive out of state (I'm in Colorado) Can anybody help?

Maybe look for a Jindo too? They would probably do well with Mr. Kibou.

Thanks for sending the post. From what I've read about Jindo's is they are jumpers and could easily jump over our 4' fence. I like Jindo’s but if this is true about them, I wouldn't want Kibou to learn this. So far Kibou respects the fence and hasn’t tried to jump over even when there are animals on the other side that he would love to chase.

I just thought of another breed that might be OK with Kibou. You may want to touch base with Norwegian Elkhound Rescue folks and see if there is an available "moose dog" in your area.
