Of all the Kai Ken I met in Japan, I think this is my favorite...

This is Gin, he is a stud at Tenrou Kensha (Musashi's kennel). I really liked Gin, he's a really handsome dog with a nice head and great coat. He's super confident too - a real stud.

    Agreed, he has nice masculine features. Based on the video, overall physically he appears like a well balanced dog. Actually what is surprising to me about the Kai in general is that I was expecting a much bigger dog.

    @StaticNfuzz - Tenrou Kensha's Kai are on the smaller side of the standard - not too small, just smaller. The Kai I met in Japan are mos def smaller than the average here in the states. The breed is a lot more refined over there, wither rather distinct types. I know the KKA breeders don't feel like it, but even in KKA the breed has more of a consistent look than it does here in the states. IMHO

    I like this dog a lot. Super handsome and balanced, and yes, very different build compared to most Kai here.
