Puppies and their toys...so cute.

Well, I just love having a puppy again. Especially one that plays all the time and is also very good (ie, no chewing on the wrong things). Kuma loves his toys, but most especially a duck (newer) and a goose (older toy) that are pretty realistic and actually quack or honk just like the real animal when he squeezes them. Anyway, thought I would share 2 cute photos of a puppy and his toys!

LMAO...Sounds like a Japanese Breed moto Brandon.

Niko had that duck and ate it immediatly!

    Those ducks aren't cheaper.

Anytime I see a stuffed toy for $12 or more, I just laugh my ass off and walk away.  That's over $2 a minute for how long it will last.

Sometimes you can find good deals on stuffed toys at www.petedge.com

However they are a wholesaler/distributor.  So you need to order over $100 worth of stuff to avoid excess processing and shipping charges.

Wow! My duck only cost me $7.99? Where are you buying them? My goose too, neither were more than $10. And Kuma has shown no tendencies to ripping his toys apart, he just shakes them vigorously but will not even play tug of war (at all). Unlike previous dogs I have had who loved to break a seam and pull out all the stuffing in the toy!

Grandma got it for a present.  I have never gotten a toy that is easily destroyed for more than a few bucks.  LOVE petedge.  We are putting in a huge order with the tax rebate.  We need lots of nylabones and NON destroyable toys.

MY dog will go around the house stealing all the stuffed animals we have (even if they are in a closet or on top of a desk, then she brings them to her bed, and gouges their eyes out...

I am amazed Kuma doesn't shred those stuffed toys... all our pups do.

He is handsome, he seems to have a little more color in his face, around his eyes, than Sora does.

    Thanx for sharing the pics!

Yes, I was surprised too that he didn't rip them apart. But he has about 10 stuffed toys and is very good with them, most are just dirty but not torn at all. All he does is shake the devil out of them and that is it. He actually doesn'l like Kongs and such. The only thing he seems to like to chew on are real beef bones (raw) and puppy ziggies (that are made by Kong). So unlike my other previous dogs. I must have an anomaly for a Japanese dog! :-)

Yes, he has a bit darker coloration now around his face and eyes, but is still light in his body. It will be interesting to see if he gets any darker.

    Awwww...kuma!! Soooo cute!!

Kiba doesn't rip up his toys either...only the edges of our carpet, and my jigsaw puzzles :(  strange since we leave out his toys to play with but they are always in tact when we get home.

How many pounds is Kuma now? Kiba is 25.6 pounds which we were happy about since he didn't seem to grow for a few weeks.

Kuma really is a good looking pup!

Yes, Kuma is quite cute, but I may be biased. You should post photos again of Kiba! He was such a pretty white boy.

Last weighed Kuma on 2/4/08 and he was 24.5 lbs, so now a few weeks later, he is probably right on target with Kiba.
