The male Akita, Trace, has pretty good health clearances (CERF current, OFA excellent, Thyroid normal, CHIC). He's the #2 Akita in America right now, and so it's not unreasonable to think that he would have been a contender for group at Eukanuba. High visibility and probably shown on cable tv. Trace is only three years old, so he would also have had lots of opportunity to sire litters of future champions.
I think someone very affluent in Asia, more than someone in the US, would offer very high amounts for him. I could imagine Trace being worth $125,000 to someone. ($500,000 / 4)
I wouldn't be sure of the same for the young female Akita who is unproven in the ring, and I don't know much about the Corgi's.
