Just a short vid I took on my mobile today of the boys playing. They are Baron (Kishu), Taro (Cream Kai), and Rome (Shikoku). I haven't put anything of Rome up yet, guess I'll make a thread for him at some point. We're going to do a penned boar training session tomorrow, should get some pics and video of that.

    I love these playing videos. Am I the only one who thinks that NKs has different way of playing than other breeds?

    I think so too Mirka, it is a very different way my GSD plays, she wants to chase and catch, where NK is more wrestly, I think... I don't have many more breeds to compare too though. I have not seem wrestly play between labs, french bulldogs, chihuahuas, goldens or beagles, which is the ones I've seen play most.

    I definitely agree that NK's play differently then like a lab or a rotti. Taro is plays just like Baron with puppies and smaller dogs. Although Taro likes to sit on Yuki once in a while when they play hard.

    So Shigeru, are you going to start rebuilding your pack soon?

    Lol I watched this with Koda and I think all the noise from Rome bothered him. He got off my lap with his ears to the side.

    I think that many Spitz play alike. I know my Siberians played different from Labs, etc. But I think that my NK play like my Siberians did. IMHO.

    Nice videos Shigeru! The shikoku pup was so hyper and active! I really like Baron a lot! You should definitely post a video of the boar training videos of your pack! I'll be waiting to see that!

    What wonderful videos!
    The catlike behavior of several primitive dogs, like the Singer, is so feline.
    I love some of the Japanese breeds for that reason.
    What is also funny is to witness a Japanese Akita with a Goofy Chinook. This is Kusu and Kalitan, my family, in fact.


    The sheer joy of watching these dogs play.
    I liked tubby Shiba being bounced around but always acknowledged.
    Thanks for these videos.
