Kurgo Quantum Leash
I just received this leash in the mail today. I got it for jogging because the arm that holds the leash always gets sore. I haven't tried it out yet, but my initial impression is that it's definitely a really neat leash. It's very versatile in that you can do hands-free walking, either around the waist or courier style, it's easy to tether to things, and you can adjust the length from 3'-6', or you can use it as a two-dog leash.
This is going to make walking a lot more convenient for me, because if I'm not out jogging, I've got my three kids in tow. I'll have either a wagon or stroller, and kids that get in and out as they feel like it, often want to hold my hand, and we often stop at playgrounds where we stop and play, so it's nice to be able to switch easily between hands-free walking, or I can attach the leash to the wagon, tether Rakka at the playground and so on. I will also be able to tether Rakka in the back of the car more easily. I had been using a regular leash with a large clip on the handle I used to latch her in. This will be easier.
My only complaint is that the hardware is not the best quality. The leash itself seems pretty standard for a nylon leash in terms of strength of materials and craftsmanship, but the metal pieces aren't that great. I don't think it will be an issue for Rakka, but for a larger, more powerful dog, I would suggest finding a tougher leash.

My only complaint is that nobody besides me can figure out how to use/adjust them. lol.

It's made from marine rope, with brass clips and loops, and is totally salt water safe. I've been using it with my guys, and it's pretty strong. It can also be used as a coupler when combined with the healing leash (basically a handle with a hook) and works great.

I definitely need something like this jogging. Holding the leashes in my hands is becoming really annoying when I'm jogging.
Other than the 'position of “Alpha” dog or pack leader keeping the dog/s right were they belong, by your side"... That is a little silly.
@Calia I've looked into that, and it's very interesting. Looks like nice stuff. Especially for two dogs, I find that it's best to keep them going in the same direction by having them attached together sled dog style. I like to get Rakka and Sosuke running shoulder to shoulder out in front of me as it simply feels the most natural and keeps us all untangled.
@brada1878 That looks really neat.
P.S. I thought I posted this ages ago, but I just checked this thread today to get a link that was posted and saw that I had this reply saved. Oops.
has anyone here tried it out?
