My leashes are reviewed on a blog

edited May 2011 in General
I met Christine at the PetExpo and I sent her a leash for review on her blog.

  • Neat blog! Lovely leash! It's always nice to find out about the talents of other forum members.

I've entered her giveaway. As I commented, I'm in the market for another leash to replace Bowdu's current ratty and rusty one. May be sending you an e-mail/order soon... =)
  • They are worth every penny! Tony's leashes combined with Pam's collars are what my two wear.

  • That's neat! I've been trying to figure out how to make different things with rope and paracord and a leash is one I'm working on right now.
I wouldn't make them for sale though, I don't like braiding rope that much!
  • @CrimsonO2 thanks Jesse!

    @Losech I know....... I don't know what I'm getting myself into :)

  • Well, lemme see if I win THIS one. If not, I may come knockin' at your e-mail inbox door, toecari.

Meanwhile, did anyone see this post on the same blog of "Discovering the Shikoku Ken" (and other Nihon ken, and a Jindo)?

    Anyone on this forum?

Actually I met Christine while I was helping @ShikokuSpirit (corina) at the Shikoku booth. We were right beside the Jindo booth and down the aisle from the JA booth, @*JackBurton* (Sean) was there too. @CrimsonO2 and @jujee helped at the Shikoku booth also.

  • Uh oh. Looks like I should have put in my order a month ago!
  • Those leashes are awesome Tony! I had made Sevuk a braided leash (out of thick yarn) last year but I wanted to kill myself by the time I was done with it. So, kudos to you for having so much patience haha :) I'd much rather buy one next time than make one myself.
  • Dude I'm trying to get a decent photo of the dogs with the leashes sorry I'm taking so long bro. By the way those leashes are hands down the best leads I have ever used.
  • I'd been looking forEVER for leads like this since my last one started unraveling (it lasted 17 years, so I think it has the right at this point). I settled for woven horse leads instead of dog leads... but yours certainly look much nicer. :( I wish I'd known!
  • They are awesome leashes!
  • Thanks guys :)
  • Yayayay!!!! I love Koda and Mei's leashes you made. I always get compliments on them. Congratulations!!!!
  • Hey @CurlyTails,
That link was the Shikoku Ken booth where my female Kurenai (first two pictures of goma), and Corina's Shuran (3rd picture, akagoma) where hamming it up for all the passers by. Both of them behaved very well (though I think Kurenai was a little too receptive to the visitors, Shuran played it cool). A couple of editors of Dog World magazine also swung by and wailed that they could've gotten pictures and info from us regarding their article on the Shikoku Ken instead and they had *just* sent the article off to the printers. Frankly, since Peggy and Katja have been at it for as long as they have, I feel most comfortable that they be the vanguard representatives of the Shikoku breed.
