[VIDEO] Kai Ken and Ovcharka

I posted this on FB and YouTube already, but I though I'd share it here too. This is a video of Akashi, Nio, and Ritsu playing with Kodi and Luytiy.





Kona is the one doing the "I'm uncomfortable" walk. He's still a little uncomfortable with Luytiy ever since Luytiy crushed him while running across the yard shortly after Luytiy came to live with us. Kona is fine with Luytiy as long as he's not moving. hehe

The lighter colored CO (sorry, don't know their names) is so playful! He/she is really putting up with the attacks from the two Kais. It's great to see how nice the dogs play together in a multi-dog household.

It looks like Luytiy ran to the window saying "um...little help here?" I am so impressed with how well the CO's play with the kai.

So Luytiy gets the rip and tears still, huh? That's really cute. Grym is very similar with how gentle he is with Shibas, even tho they are mean to him. Thanks for sharing that!

The lighter CO is Kodi, he's pretty good with the Kai since he was raised with them. Luytiy is good with them too, but a little less tolerant than Kodi. Both of them are shockingly tolerant of the Kai boys, IMHO.

You can see, while it looks like a bunch of Kai are picking on them, the COs are still in some control over the situation. If you look closely, you can see Luytiy gives Nio a "STOP THAT" look - you can see (at 00:29) Luytiy shows his teeth to him very clearly (I think Nio bit his ear). After the correction the Kai boys change to appeasement behaviors (licking Luytiy's face) - Kodi even appears to be going over to offer appeasement too until Akashi start chomping him, then he is pulled away and the action turns more toward Kodi and not Luytiy.

I guess, my point is, the CO must enjoy it, or they would stop it.

I need to get a video of them and Masha in the AM. The Kai boys LOVE Masha... and Masha seems to really like them too.

It's impressive how quickly and effectively Luytiy put Nio back in his place, without making a big fuss over it. He knows he's the big cheese.

I'm amazed at how tolerant both the CO are with all that.

Wow Luytiy and Kodi are both beautiful CO! I love looking at the size difference of the two breeds. The CO are so big!
