JACA Japanese Akita Show - Feb 11th 2012 10 am.

Location: Arthur Lee Johnson Memorial Park (aka South Park)
Garden California 90274

This show is open to all registered Japanese Akitas. Entry $25 and you do not need to be a JACA member to be in the show. Like the Akiho show, the JACA show is geared to education and preservation of the Japanese Akita. Classes begin at 3mo puppy class all the way to the 7yo veteran class. We will also have an Altered class so that fixed Japanese Akitas can participate as well.

Entry form and instructions can be found here:

Los Angeles Branch Akiho Show - Feb 12th 2012 10 am.

Location: Arthur Lee Johnson Memorial Park (aka South Park)
Garden California 90274

Open to all Akiho members and registered Akiho dogs. This will be the first official branch show since 2006. Akiho Headquarters will be sending a judge out from Japan for this show. If you are interested you must be an active Akiho member with an intact Japanese Akita. The Akiho pedigree must be in your name as owner.

This is a fantastic way to see lots and lots of Japanese Akitas. My hope is to get some JA entered in the Akiho show that are registered through an FCI country, or AKC.

Comments

  • I let the Northern CA Akita Club (Meetup) know about the show.
  • Toki is gonna be there!! :)
I'm not, though i wish i could. Carol and Jim are taking him.

Someone should take a million pictures of that weekend and of Toki and post them so I can see!! :))
  • bit far for me to travel but wish i could go, sounds like it will be a great show. hope we get lots of pics .
  • Just a reminder the JACA and Akiho show are right around the corner.

Don't forget you do not need to be a JACA member to enter the show. If you own a Japanese Akita and live in the area this is a great opportunity to see other Japanese Akitas.
  • I hope to see the two shows. Would be neat to see the AKIHO ring procedures on Sunday.

  • It looks like 24 dogs on Saturday and 28-30 on Sunday. As per all the shows, we'll have plenty of cameras. In fact, I'll be one of the more rookie photographers there this time.
  • Hope to see ya at the show tomorrow!
  • Here is the show catalog to download. I'm sure there is still a typo or two. I'm beat but three more pups from Japan came in today go us!!!
