Let's get together for dinner after Pet Expo is closed on Saturday. Where would you guys like to go? What time would work best?

    Down the 55 freeway from the show there is a Yard House in Triangle Square. Good beer and food to be had if we want to keep close to where the out-of-towners are staying? Then there's always South Coast and all the other restaurants near there (Mastro's, Morton's, Maggiano's, Red Robin, Claim Jumper, Season 52, Charlie Palmer, Anqi, etc.)

    There are also plenty of Japanese places nearby. I like Yamada Ya Ramen off of Fairview and Baker, and there's always the Mitsuwa (Santoka Ramen) and Marukai (Daikokuya).

    815 so the late crew can stash their dogs and I can inform the wife that she is my DD for the night.

    I would prefer to do the dinner on Saturday than Sunday. I figured folks would be traveling home Sunday evening.

    Just a reminder that some hotels don't allow dogs to be left alone in the room. If you have a secure vehicle, it should be cool enough that they can be left in them. (I'm always freezing during the Pet Expo evenings.)

    Yeah, it gets pretty cold some evenings there, so bring a jacket! :)

    Also, I'm in for whatever! =] ohhh and tara @tjbart17 is done with her cleanse! She can drink again! lol

    I'd LOVE to go...hopefully I'll get Saturday off from work or I can work an earlier shift. I can't say for certain until I know my work schedule but I'm definitely interested.

    If...and that's a big if...I was in town for that weekend would someone be willing to be my ride for a little gas money? It'll be just me, my brothers could watch Micah.

    If you mean you need a ride from the expo or your hotel to the restaurant, I can do that.

    @tjbart17 I'm planning to go down in May anyway, just contemplating going down earlier. It'll depend on test results later this month :P

    Rina, if I go your more them welcome to hitch a ride with me to where ever we are going to eat. If I end up having to work that day, I will be getting off at 2:30pm so I will head up soon after.

    I just realized this is Koda and Tora's birthday! I'll have to have a drink for them. he he.

    I'll go anywhere, and I can take anyone who needs a ride. I'll be staying at the Ramada in Costa Mesa.

    I submitted forms for requested shifts at work. I was told by my scheduling supervisor that it should not be a problem. So it's looking like I'll be able to do dinner that Saturday night, yay! I might be a +1, +2, +3 or +4, lol. =p


    About how many of us will be attending dinner? We should get an approximate count so that we can decide on a restaurant. Since it should be a restaurant with enough seating for us all.
