Um I have a stupid question. Sorry in advance. By drinking raw milk you mean drinking it straight from the goat/cow or boiling it first? I grew up around animals with access to fresh cow/goat milk but I remember my grandmother used to boil it before giving it to me and my sister.
Hey @white_bear - yes, raw means straight from a thoroughly cleaned animal, you then do a "strip" squirt which eliminates any bacteria "IF" some had crept up into the teat and then the animal is milked into sanitized stainless steel bowls, then filtered through a very nice mirco-filter and cooled/fridged as soon as possible. Your gma was probably pasteurizing at home, which is completely do-able! )
