Can anyone tell me what this is?

i just noticed this on the back of Ghost's testicles today. you can see it from behind him when he is standing. Seems like the skin is a lighter shade in that area. im not sure what it is or what casued it. Perhaps he has been licking that area too much?

Ike got a pink spot like that after rough housing with the girls, in that exact same spot. I think one of them nipped his sack when going after the rear legs. Anyways, it scabbed over and the pink skin returned to normal. Does he have other dogs he rough and tumbles with?

I just went through this with my Shiba, although he is neutered.

He got a cut or abrasion on his scrotum and licked it with a frenzy, causing it to become pink and raw. We took him to the vet where they gave him an anti-inflammatory and antibiotic shot.

After about 5 days of wearing the cone of shame and many 'why are you doing this to me??' stares, he is just fine now. I also spritzed Calm Coat twice a day to the area, with my vet's okay. Hope this helps.

Same thing happened to Saru. just about the same process as @kbbd83 but I just kept him distracted with treats and used aloe. took about 2 weeks to start looking normal but he stopped licking a couple days after I caught it.

he sometimes plays around with other my friends mini aussie shepherd but he hasnt seen her in over a week and he also lives with a shiba.

do u guys think i need to see a vet or should i just put some neosporin or aloe on it and let it heal?
