Had a spare moment so I checked out the UKC show up in Claremont. I'll let the owners brag.

Thanks for taking the pictures yesterday! I tried to reply to the forum on my non-smart phone and it wouldn't let me. :-/ So I had to wait until I got home.

So, yeah, our little girl finished her UKC CH today after earning 100 pts with 3 wins over competitors in the group judging level. She has really nice movement despite her puppy-ness which helped her place well. I don't rely on the UKC for feedback on type, but for movement, yeah, it was nice to see affirmation about her movement at least for this age.

Since we don't have the competition to earn Gr. CH, our next UKC conformation show will probably be after the JAs can participate. Show for pure fun as it is. I also would like feedback on her as an adult. UKC judges are pretty good about giving hints on the reasons behind their decisions.
  • She is very beautiful. :) I love Jindo breed too.
  • beautiful! congrats!
  • No problem, glad they turned out. I got to admit those UKC shows look fun.
  • Wow, she is stunning.
  • Congrats! I love her gaze.

The brindle around her face seems so much sharper compared to her coat. It's very striking. Maybe it's just the pictures though -- gorgeous all around.
  • Wow, she is gorgeous! I love that first pic! I didn't realize the jindos could be brindle too. She is a gorgeous girl!
  • @curlytails - Part of that is the oversaturation from the camera. A certain person's camera does this as a default. :-)

The shorter hairs are going to show the stripes better, but yes, her body stripes are not as distinct yet. It's mostly because of that lighter puppy coat which she is only just now starting to shed. She has a few adult guard hairs growing at her shoulders and I'm pretty happy about it. The color is clearly orange with black stripes. No bland brown.
  • Oh that's even more cool, that the stripes develop more as she gets older!
