Rudi is losing his teeth now.

Wow,

Rudi is five-months-old now and tonight I noticed that when he did his usual mouthing/biting he pulled back and wiped his face with his paw.  I looked and his adult incisors on the bottom have broken the gums and the baby incisors are very loose.  I tried to evacuate them but they are holding strong.  Tomorrow maybe.  I want to get them so I can keep them in my jewelry box.  I hope he does not swallow them.

I guess the little guy is going to have a sore mouth for a while.  I will offer him a baby aspirin if it seems like it becomes too much for him.  Poor kid is growing up fast.

Mika preferred ice over froze wash clothes or frozen rope toys.

    Hi again,

All four incisors are out.  I managed to assist with two of them and the other two I found on the floor.  Whew, I am glad that is over.  He is being very careful with the mouthing now and will soon be treating me like rawhide again before I know it.

How Cute - I loved when Ryu's teeth fell out. All of sudden, they weren't razor sharp anymore! His new teeth are alot more rounded so it doesn't hurt as much when he's being mouthy. I also noticed that he is less mouthy now (only 5.5 months old). I'm getting a little nervous about the chewing though - I heard from someone here that the chewing started at about 7 months? :)

Ron - Ryu loves ice cubes too - they really help with the new teeth coming in :)
