Grain free vs grain canned food

Hi
You might know that I am struggling with my puppy weight. I tried to add yogurt today but she didn't like it that much. When she had diarrhea the vet told me to mix her kibble with prescription canned food, at that period she really loved her food and her weight increased. I am thinking about getting cann food for her. Is there big difference between grain free and the food that contain grain? I feed her grain free kibble right now and I am between these two choices
1. Innova larg breed puppy canned food
2. Nature variety instinct canned food( I feed her this brand kibble)
Thank you

Other than carb content? Not really. Grain-inclusive canned foods tend to have more carbs in them, grain-free less, or none. If your pup doesn't have a problem with grains, there is nothing wrong with using a food that's got them in it. Carbs can help put some weight on, so I'd probably go with a grain-inclusive food for that. If you go for a lower-carb food or grain-exclusive, I'd get one with a higher fat content to help with the weight issue.

My Shiba puts on better weight (more muscle) with food that's high protein, high fat, and low carb. But if I cut the carbs completely he gets super skinny and can't hold the weight too well. Too many carbs and he gets flubby. It's difficult to keep him at a good weight since he's pretty sensitive to the protein/fat/carb ratio.
My other two dogs do good on moderate to high protein, moderate fat, and moderate carb foods.
