If the breeder has an accidental, then ask them how they guarantee the dog if it has any issues. Also ask them is that is spelled out in the sales contract.
Good point, Sean--always check up on the OFA stuff yourself! In the Shiba world, some unscrupulous people are starting to make this up, and I heard they do it with some other breeds as well. So it's good policy to check!
