Just for fun.The red one is our former dog "Polo", a male Hokkaido who passed away 2011 August(at 15 years old.He is 14 years old in those pictures). The black one is our current dog "Chip", a male kuro-shiba(black shiba) who is now 1 year old.
@Saya ,@shibamistress These are the temperament differences between Polo and Chip.
Hokkaido has some fierce temperament which you cannot drive away.Although our vet said Polo is extremely friendly for Hokkaido-standard, He became defensive sometimes. On the other hand, Shiba is much milder and very friendly for people&other dogs .
Shiba LOVES toys especially balls.Polo was not so interested in toys expect one or two favorite things he kept for more than 10 years.
Hokkaido is calm, patient, smart and dignified.Shiba is funny, stubborn, zealous and innocent.
Plus, Hokkaido eyes becomes "demonic" red-eyes in pictures while shiba's becomes "ghostly" pale green.
@Saya It was dark, at night, and from under a table. The camera flashed just right to catch the green really intensely. The only doctoring I did was turn everything but Conker's eyes black and white to add emphasis to them.

Wow! What a color.
That's very interesting. Is there any Shiba who get red eye-shine?
I think last time flash light was on Saya her eyes were green I might be wrong I'll have to check later.
Red
Blue
Maybe it depends on the angle of the light shinning on the dog's eyes.
