My cuddle babies!!!
Portia and Ninja NEVER cuddle with eachother or lay next to eachother, especially on the couch. This is the FIRST TIME EVER!!! I am soooo proud of them!! And they are sooo cute!!! I really never thought it would be possible, they surprise me everyday. Ugh...I love my babies!!!

John
i LOVE the white patch on Ninja!
There was a shiba at rescue
a few weeks ago that I took to the vet that was marked like a cow! He
was red with white patches all over - I'm sure its a 'fault' in
coloring, but he was the most unique coloration i've seen on a Shiba!
I got it !!! Romi, lets get you back into school ... ummm, lets say business and economics. We'll find you a nice cushy corporate job ... then I can retire and be a stay at home doggie daddy !!! That sounds awesome, huh? Huh?!? No ? Ok, fine I'll get back to work. Ughhhh ...
Anywho, I hope everyone is doing well.
John
Yep - It definately is a fault. When we were at the Shiba Meet, John was walking around with Ninja and one of the judges came up to him and complemented him on Ninja but said, "too bad you can't show him or breed him". John didn't know why so he asked and the judge said "well the white patch on the back of his neck is a fault, they cannot have that mark. Also on the legs, the white goes up too high, that is a trait of old breeding" John was a little sad after that because he didn't know. But I told him I knew...but we weren't planning on showing or breeding him so it doesn't matter what he looks like.
LOL, maybe in another lifetime John. GET BACK TO WORK AND MAKE THAT MONEY! lol just joking. I WORK!...sorta...hehe.
Dave - Yep! He's a sweetheart! He has some flaws...but who doesn't? My ultimate goal would be that he will learn to relax and realize that strangers and other dogs are not the end of the world and to enjoy himself. But if not, whateva..no one's perfect! He's still a great dog to us.
