Probably not... Actual wolf mixes are hard to come by. Looks like some sort of Akita mix, or an Elkhound mix, or a generic Shepherdish mix, maybe some type of huskyish mix.
no idea it looks german shepherd-y. And in Arkansas wolf mixes aren't really that hard to come by. One of my ex's had a 3/4 german shepherd 1/4 timber wolf mix. she was a total doll. Didn't look like a wolf herself but you could TELL her daddy was half.
Arashi and I ran into one at a party in jan. or feb. it was a mal/wolf mix very pretty.
Hmmm no idea i hadn't considered much, they didn't bother saying much. Sadly i assume he's super hyper with no training if they had to take pics thru a fence
They're from Arkansas. That should explain everything. *fly over state*
I worked for a company, and one of the officers kept telling me that he had a wolf/husky mix. Paid entirely too much for the dog, and it did not have any part of a wolf in it whatsoever. I get really tired of rolling my eyes at people who claim that their dog is part wolf. Yeah sure. I'm part unicorn.
Thats a gorgeous dog, but not part wolf, and probably not that much Akita either. Ear set looks like an AA and a bit maybe in the muzzle, but looks more elkhound or something else in there for the coloring and expression. GSD too.
Yeah, I'm SUPER dubious about "part wolf" claims. Grew up in alaska, where it is actually possible (with wild wolves I mean, not wolf "hybrids," though there were some of those too. Most of the time they are just husky or malamute mixes. My mom did have wolf dogs (wolf "hybrids" that she bought) and they are very, very different.
I don't see any wolf in that dog at all, but great looking dog nonetheless.
