The AVMF is receiving requests from Oklahoma veterinarians so they can get back to the business of caring for family pets affected by this disaster. In times like these, you have responded with overwhelming generosity, compassion, and a sense of urgency that has allowed us to standy ready to help those in need. As recently as last year, we provided funding to the Oklahoma Veterinary Medical Association to assist with purchasing disaster equipment and training first-responders. In addition, the AVMF supports the AVMA Veterinary Medical Assistance (VMAT) teams which are on stand-by, ready to assist in the response if requested by the State of Oklahoma.
