3 Month Old Stray Kai in NC???

A lady stopped Akuma and I on our walk this morning. She told us he was such a beautiful dog and asked what was he. I said Kai Ken and she said I thought so. She said her sister in North Carolina found a stray 3 month old Kai Ken (that's what the vet told her they were). I didn't catch if it was a boy or girl and I don't know if it was really a Kai Ken (can't remember any recent litters from only 3 months ago) but I thought I'd post it up here incase anyone was looking or knew anything about it. Her sister's name was Kitty and it sounded like she posted stuff about it being found (I don't know where) and contacted a kennel about 100 miles away but was hoping she could keep it.

    Wierd. I wonder if it really was a Kai Ken? Or if the vet just looked at a pic and decided? (Most vets don't even have any idea what a Kai Ken is....can't tell you how many times I've heard "but there's not even a category for that breed!" on computer files, etc).

    Yeah, it seems less than likely but just incase I thought I'd throw it up here. I'd guess it might be a Shiba but who knows, the lady was biking with people so I didn't get to ask much.
