Is this going to be a puppy? We're planning on bringing 3 Hokka pups over in the next 7 months. So at least one them will be flying solo, which would mean a second puppy could be fit in and the cost split
I've been considering going this fall. I dunno if I'll have the funds to do it or not, given I have some imports coming over next month, but I'll let you know as my plans come together.
@shishiinu's Yuki and my Kurenai were in the same crate when they flew over. I remember (@ShikokuSpirit) Corina calling me from the airport in LAX telling me she got the pups and they were bitching at each other as she ran out of the airport for fear of people staring at what devil dogs she had in the kennel.
How many pups you can transport in the same crate varies by airline. Sometimes they have to be the same sex, or the same age, or the same breed, or from the same litter. There are also often weight and age requirements.
It both depends on airline and their requirements on available space. All of them require that the pets are able to stand up and turn around + weight limit. So unless there's plenty of space in that crate for them to stand up and turn around/stretch, then it's really risking it. At that point it's up to the animal services agent to make the call of whether the crate is too small or not, possibly resulting in them not making the flight.

I probably will import 5-6 MONTH or older male. so he will be pretty big size.
I heard that you can put 2 pup in one crate as long as weight is not over limit and they are littermates.
