Doggy Doors

I would like to request some suggestions on how to get Sunny (Kai Ken) to use a doggy door. She is not responsive to food so I cannot bribe her and after stuffing her through she just gets more set against using it.

I really want her to use one as it will cut down my heating bill because I will be able to close my back door during winter but she is just dead set against using one.

Suggestions will be appreciated. Thanks.

Tape it open and put her food on the other side. She doesn't get fed until she goes through it. Or, use a favorite toy or chew and let her make the decision to go through. Lower the flap a bit every day until she gets used to it and will go through with it closed. Give her lots of praise for going through it, make it seem like a big deal and awesome thing to have done.

Have them watch another dog go through it really excitedly like on a hunt. If they want to participate they will go through. Ive found if you can get 2 other dogs riles up to go out by nature your kai will want to follow
