Greetings from Don the Kai Ken and Me

Hi everyone, I made a few posts a little over a year ago when we first took Kai Ken Don home to live with us. We adopted him from Cindy in Michigan and he is a most wonderful companion. Sorry it has been so long since I have made a post.
In August of 2013, I was involved in a very bad accident where I almost lost my life and had to remain in the hospital for many weeks. I am doing o.k. but I am still in recovery. Don the Kai Ken has become my great companion and guardian. He is always there for me and I really enjoy his company. He looks out for me and we have developed a very special connection which I can't properly explain in words, but this dog really makes me happy. Don is doing very well and I feel so blessed to have him in my life. On days when I feel down, he always brings me happiness. Getting this Kai Ken in my home is one of the best therapies that I can ever imagine. I will post some newer pictures of Don soon, he is doing very well with us.

Wow, what a great story. So glad you're ok, and you have such a trusty companion at your side! Kai really do seem to be incredibly in tune with how we feel and just us in general, esp when you have a good relationship with them. Don sounds absolutely wonderful. Can't wait to see pics of him!

I'm sorry to hear of your accident, but glad you have Don by your side! I understand your connnection to him, as my Kai has developed a special bond with me. It is very special and you are lucky to have found it with Don.
