Is my shiba a shiba?
Ok....I may be paranoid, but I noticed that Noche (my new pup shiba) ears may be to big for his face..wich concerns me if he may be mixed....can anyone confirm this (I cant remeber if sol and luna had big ears as a pup)

Double check with the breeder for a pedigree (if that pertains to this pup) for certain bloodlines and purebred shibas.
What a cutie!

On another note my vet noticed something VERY quick that I already knew..Noche has a Napoleon complex, He said that although shibas are very independet dogs..this one will be a little more than usual (tell me about it) he said it was good that he is a pup so he will learn his place with Sol and Luna..not to fear if they snap at him, because they are simply telling him his boundaries..I saw this toon, Sol and Luna have shown fangs at time to noche..wife would get nervous..I stood there and watched, I did notice their hairs on the back never sttod up..so I knew they were not mad..just putting him in his place. I helped re-enforce their rules by saying leave it to noche when he got to out of hand..which helped, he has started to chill with them and now they hang around him more.
Guinness has large ears, and he has very long legs.
I'm finding that shibas can have a few different looks, some longer legged than others, some longer fur than others, some shorter tail than others, some features (ears) more prominent than others, some markings more deep or obvious than others. I guess its all up to the discretion of the person breeding the dog.
Quinn is the white puppies name.
