I snapped a few funny pics of the pups sleeping over the last few days, so I thought it might be fun to have a thread for your best goofy sleeping pics.

    Ok Barb, I guess it's just like the Christmas story at your house: "Mamma in her kercheif and I in my... had just settled down for a long winter's nap..." Never seen a dog sleep before with a scarf on its head... LOL ... Or maybe that paw over the face is from embarrassment?

    Brandon, I believe I actually put her paw over her eyes and she was sooooo sleepy she just kept it there. Works on my cats too. It was very early. Keigo and I are early risers. Mika and Kurt and late sleepers. So at that point, it was 6:30 or 7am on a Saturday and she was too tired to take her bonnet (HAHA) off and put her paw in proper sleep position.

    This is my all time favorite sleeping pic. We stuffed Jewel into his sweater. After a few minutes of fighting, she settled in for a nap.

    I don't have any funny sleeping pictures of Nemo. He almost always sleeps laying in a tight curl, and if not, he just lays on his side. Our cat Homer is like Jewel, he is always sleeping on something funny. Boxes, backpacks, plastic bags, a kitchen towel if it is left on the counter. Whatever is kind of strange, is what he likes to lay on.

    OMG! They are all SOOOOO CUTE! LOL I have a few favorites. Like the first one of Mylie in her bed!!! And Hondru's Fourth picture, the one of the pup half on and half off the window seat.

    Josephine has not seemed to star in too many sleeping pics --- not surprising, given her lively personality. Here is one in which she appears to be sleeping standing up --- not sure exactly what happened there, but I think its funny!

    Not sure what happened to my comments about the cats. Those are pics of my daughter's cats who fell asleep on top of the laundry that she was folding... Cat's names: Jihad (also known as G-3) - the siamese, and Juan (short for Don Juan Julio) -- the other cat...

    Very cool! "Jihad" in arabic means "to struggle" I love the name :o But with all the bad hype in the media, I don't think I'd be able to name my dog that. :(~

    Well Osy, I think that name for Jihad had to do with his arrival in her life in the midst of some of that angst that hits around the age of 20-ish. Won't go into the rest of the story but the name is apt, and he has a lighter alternative nickname! Both fellows are pretty mellow fellows now, but were CRAZY cats as kittens! Now each is about 2 1/2 years (Juan a month or two older than G-3) --- they can still get up the speed if enticed with the right toy or decide to chase each other, but you can see they also love to relax!
