We have 2 female Shikoku: Ahi and Loa. Ahi got very car sick as a pup but grew out of it. Loa was never car sick. Loa is also not very picky with food, while Ahi is mildly picky. both our Shikoku eat Orijen and do great on it. our Shikoku will also self regulate their diet/weight, if they don't feel they need a meal they will skip it. this is fine with us.
please do us all a favor, when you switch your pup's food and see results (with her ears and tummy), go back to your vet and show him/her the results. maybe that will get one more vet to start considering nutrition when diagnosing issues like this.
Welcome to the forum! your pup is very good looking.
