though i'd introduce the newset member of our family. as the thread title states she is call athena. she is 8 weeks old, i picked her up on saturday and since then she as pretty much ensured that i've had no sleep. her mother is a uk bred bitch tycon's eternal flame. she isn't the best looking dog in the world but she as a lovely temperment and her father is a japanese import Kaidou Go Shirai At Wendbarry. hoping she gets her looks from her dad. the first pic is of her at 6 weeks.

i ment her mum wasn't the best looking dog in the world ( i'll blame the lack of sleep for the bad wording ). she is like the energizer bunny, she as 5 minute power naps about 4 times a day the rest of the time she is bouncing and howling and barking. she is certainly the noisiest puppy we've ever had.

Oh my god- our dogs are really related! I have mr. Orange from this litter! Well his name is Taro now! She is adorable! Lools exactly like Taro!

woo so he is a saki baby, i though he might have been out of kenyas litter. so that makes him athenas full brother. i saw him when he was 4 weeks old and they where just balls of fluff. will post some of the pics of them at some point if you like.

Oh my bad, you are right, I checked his papers and Taro is indeed Kenya's baby!
I sadly didn't have chance to meet Nigel or any of the guys there, I flew to the UK and (after being stranded at Heathrow for 3 days because of snow) picked him up and flew back to Turkey. If you met Kenya can you tell me what she is like? I am very curious about Taro's mommy!

Our pups have the same father though or so it seems. Wish we lived in the same country at least so we could arrange playdates between Athena and Taro! And any pics would be greatly loved!

i didn't met kenya but i have been told that she is a sweetheart who is great with kids, if she is at crufts with jo and nigel i'll get pictures of her.
and it is a shame we aren't in the same country play dates would have been amazing, athena gets a bit much for our american girl sometimes she is a little full on with her, she really could do with another young dog to play with.

I really hope Taro grows up to be like her then! I have the same problem with younger dogs in my district--here we have all adult dogs who frown upon the silly idea of playing! They are mostly neutered though, so maybe that's why they aren't interested in lively play anymore?

athena hit 5 months last thursday and passed her kennel club good citizens puppy foundation course. i'm really proud of how well she as done with her training. she will start her next classes on the 17th march, i hope they go as well.
some more recent pictures of her and a video of her and our AA girl playing. venus is a lot happier with her now and really is enjoying having another dog to play with .

athena had her first champ show yesterday, she as started dropping coat so looked a little woolie and i was so nervous i was shaking and with no puppy class she was in with the older dogs in junior and the class was well attended so really didn't expect her to get placed. she took reserve junior bitch and because the sexes where combined in 1 class and she was unbeaten by another bitch only dogs she got to challenge for best bitch where she took reserve best bitch. considering she isn't looking her best and she was one of the youngest there, and had me dithering on the end of the lead i think she did really well.
