My husband wants to know what kind of camera you have. He's psuedo in the market for one and liked the pics. (Meaning he'll spend months looking and pick out what he wants and then not buy anything! *lol*)
Your glass is everything. Followed by what ever bells and whistles you like. For me it's ISO performance and Frames per second. Megapixel is not a major consideration.
Personally I've been happy with DX Nikon cameras. They have a sensor with a crop factor which is like having a little extra zoom built in. Great for dogs and outdoor events.
