Yeah..its before, as you can see the left side( his left, the right side we are looking at) is a malformed socket and ball, The socket is a very open arc and thus allowing the leg bone to almost full luxation out of the socket, which in time can ero…

Yeah, I'm glad that we caught it early to, at first I thought that maybe I did the surgery to soon, since the majority of fho cases I read were on dogs 2 years or older, but now I come to realize they are done that old mailnly because the symptoms a…

I actually did some more checking this morning on him; the knee seems to have the pop, in fact I am leaning towards the fact that it may be patella, (between hip and that I prefer patella), Luna actually had the suregery as well and she recouped 100…

Kissui, Is that only true for akitas?..or for shibas as well,? I ask this because noche, my 6 month old shiba, is about to get snipped, I had the other two shibas snipped at the same age. As far as "guard" dogs, like I said, thats not t…

Dont go by pictures..shibas look a lot bigger in pics without a known point of referance. My friends who see pics of Sol Luna and Noche think they are German Shepard size until they see the pics with me next to them.

Noche looks to be keeping his original face markings, he did go through some coat changes. At one point I thought he was going to havve a very noticible brown skunk stripe down his back..but black hair is forming over it, so its not as noticible any…

Noche is getting close to 14 weeks, the first pic is him around 8 weeks, he has grown a bit since then (pushing over 12 pounds now). His brothe and sisters looked almost all identical to him, so I don't think he will turn red, I just have to wait an…

Here are your body shots...this is noche then

I think it is the undercoat that is showing more(on the right and left sides of his back the undercoat is more white)...he was shedding a lot of black hair for a bit and I do see small black hairs underneath, so he could be flipping coats. As far as…

I would have to agree with Niko's mom, My sister tried to convince us to not to neutor Sol, said people would pay good money to use him as a breed dog, but honestly we purchased him and Luna as pets first...The sheer benefits of spay and neutor outw…

I’m in agreement with about everything everyone said, My female shiba is VERY friendly with other dogs and strangers...to a point...she will just as well greet you as much as turn her back to you...she decides when and where she wants to socialize. …
