So cute.. Love her colors

Mirka. Sorry, didn't mention the temperament because of Ife. I Don't worry about her, think she's still so young, that you can work on it, I'm sure. Have you tried show training? Near by, we have this training, with a good coach, and some nice ca…

I think you all misunderstand me a little in this matter. Don't wanna change the temperament of the Kais, not at all, we love the Kais as they are, and that's what make them so special, but I don't think it's OK for a Kai to bite, or any other dog..…

@brada1878. My email adress is active, and I do get the notifications, but I have changed the email adress, so hopefully no more problems.
-
@Brego_mellon_nin Yes Tanja that's exactly what I mean. You can't, and should not, force your dogs to love everybody, but I don't think it's OK for them not to behave just a little among people. Particularly now, when we have some breeds prohibited …

@tjbart. Thanks for the link. He's so cute, thinks he looks a little like a black chow.

@mot. Tank you so much, what a great post. Think I'll use Koro for my male pup, it's a good short name, and he's a little fat boy right now. ;-) I like Kana and Kumi too, will use these for the female pups. Wonderful help, thanks again.

Yes for sure, I don't wanna change the wildness in the breed, or the temperament, and know it's not a fault. Our dogs don't always love everybody, and if they are off leach, they just ignore people they don't like, and likewise at home. But I think…

Wish I hawe seen a longhaired, it's hard to imagine how they look. And Mirka, couldn't agree more, particularly in our part of the world. I think it's so important, that this wonderful breed, gets a really good start. At the show in Norway, I tal…

Thanks again. Brad, I have a translated pedigree on Cody, but he's a JKC import, it's the only dpedigrees accepted by FCI. As from the US, they only accept AKC pedigrees, not from UKC.

I have never seen one, they must look funny. What we really fel in love with, was that Otto is so loving and friendly to all people, kids and also strangers. He's such a wonderful Kai. Don't know about the coat, think some genetic disorders can be…

Otto's parents are Classy's Kokusai-Teki Hoshi and Classy Daiichi Odori No Inochi. I have heard of longhaired Kais, but never seen one, don't know if any of you have?
-
Thanks... No, I don't have long haired Kais.... But some say, that the male (Otto) I used to mate with Mokii, had a long haired brother. The owner of Otto can't confirm this, and I can't get in contact with the breeder of Otto, in France. Haven't he…

Thank you Mirka. Still working on contact to FCI, from DKK. Do you have some pictures of your new pup?

Didn't work, try once more... As I promised some time ago, here comes some photos of our wonderful Kai dogs, from our holiday in Sweden. (Image) (Image) A true Kai, his favorite place on the garden table. Cody & Mokii.. (Image) Yeahh.…

Thank you so much for this information Shigeru, would like to use it on my homepage, if it's ok with you. Just for information, the FCI standard males 53 cm +/- 3 cm, females 48 cm +/- 3 cm. Hope you're okay, and the best wishes for all japanese pe…

Thank you Mirka. They do the same in DK with the pedigree number. But her pedigree on Hundeweb is totally empty....
-
Mirka. One question for you. In Demark we have "Hundeweb" and in Sweden they call it "hunddata" do tou have something like this in Finland. Would like to see, how they register your 2 dogs pedigrees in the Finnish Kennel Club, ma…

I would be pleased to voluntary about this foundation, no problem. Because of my job, I have a lot of spare time. Maybe we should start to try to make a skandinavian cooperation. Know that the danish owner of the only shikoku in skandinavia, had som…

yes, or else it comes here xandor@pc.dk Thank you.

It would be great. In Denmark they only accept dogs from Japan with JKC pedigree. And our Mokii has a UKC pedigree, wich was accepted by the AKC FSS register. I paid them to make a AKC-FSS pedigree, and them DKK accepted Mokii, but only her, not her…

Too fatst woul say... Ok, thats like...
-
Okhat's like in the US. But then you can't participate in FCI shows?

Congrats Mirka, he looks very cute and promising. Just a question, can you register a KKA dog int Finland? Its not possible for us in Denmark. And if a dog is not registered in the Danish Kennel Club (DKK) you can't participate in any dog shows app…
