Over the weekend I happened to inadvertently break my foot. It is nothing too terrible, just a chip on my heel bone, but it hurts like crazy! So the pups had not been getting their twice daily walks. Well, yesterday I was feeling slightly adventurous (after going to the doctor), so I took the pups downtown after it rained for a little walk to get out some of their pent up energy (our yard just is not that big!). We had a nice walk (4 miles of hobbling through mud puddles) and we ended up seeing two beavers dancing in the river! It was the coolest thing I think I have seen in a long time. The dogs were mesmerized. I am not sure if they wanted to join them or eat them. lol!
Well, the pups were happy after their excursion, even though my foot has decided it hates me. And they even got to go for an (EARLY) morning ride in the county this morning to try and catch a glimpse of the meteor shower. Too bad there were too many clouds and we could not see anything. But the girls had a good time chasing the rabbits and watching me hobble around.
I have not had much of a chance to take pictures lately, but I have a few from last month that I have not posted yet... So for your viewing pleasure:
Hope your foot gets better. At least your trying to be active. I'd use it as an excuse to be even more of a lazy bastard. Thanks for the N&B spam too, I love the face Bella is making in that one pic, and I am so getting some Nola DNA, and bringing it to Korea to have her cloned.
lol @ Joe. Good luck getting that Nola DNA. Maybe I will just send you some fur... Can they clone from that? :-P
And thanks guys! My foot is doing much better... but I am still hobbling around. I even cut the grass yesterday evening while the pups laughed at me. (Seriously, they really were laughing! Nola even laughed so hard she started coughing! If I had not been covered in sweat cursing at all the weeds, I would have gotten a video.)
Sooooo. I had a HUGE exam today that lasted just about 4 hours... Needless to say, the pups were not happy that it took away from their Saturday time with me. This is what I came home to:
How could two such little pups cause SO much damage to my bed and my laundry hamper??? It is as if their (not so) little teeth multiplied while I was taking my exam!
You can just see the evil in their blurry little faces...
On a happier note, I have puppy spam!
Nola looking as cute as she possibly can:
Bella following suit:
This one is just for Joe:
Sequence of Nola eating Bella's leg:
"WHAT DO YOU MEAN YOU CAN NOT HEAR ME?"
"Here, let me whisper in your ear."
"How about if I just eat your head?"
I swear she thinks she is a pointer:
Pretty Pretty Bella:
The pups first bully stick experience: Nola wanted to hide under the chair with hers:
It really took them about 10 minutes to figure out what they were supposed to do with it.
But after that... There was no stopping them!
Alrighty... That should just about be spam overload! :-P
Awesome. thanks for all the spam. Sorry to hear that your laundry hamper bought the farm, but hey it could always be worse. Be thankful your pups haven't mastered fire yet. We had to get rid of our last pet caveman because of that.
Also, why is the picture of Nola staring at Bella's bum-bum hole for me. Are you trying to suggest something?

Whatcha doing?
Bella and Nola are gorgeous as always!
Cool about the beavers! I saw some once building a dam in California, it was really awesome to see them work.
Your pups are gorgeous, as usual
