  • Yay Cho Cho!
  • Nice good luck on it.
  • Cool!!! Did you see this @Shikoku1?

Cho is getting over her car sickness/car anxiety on 30min rides (round trip)! We're pretty excited! She seems to enjoy the rides and loves to squeeze through the space between the passenger seat and the door frame and stick her head out the window! hahahaha We're going to try taking her longer rides to see what sets her off and what are her limits.

-Notice the passenger seat belt she squeezed through? Silly girl

  • LoL, she reminds me of Tikaani, he loves to squeeze his between the seat and wall of the car to stick his head out of the front window

Is it weird that ChoCho won't play or relax in the yard unless I'm outside with her? I let her and Goro outside to play and she stands by the door and barks once every 5 mins as if to call us. I open the door to see if she wants to come in, but she just backs up and cries a bit. I then close the door and she does it again. When I step outside and sit on a chair she immediately starts to play and run around with Goro. If I get up and leave she stops and waits by the door again. Lol
  • Aw, that's sweet! She wants you with her to enjoy the day!
  • ChoCho is wonderful.

@hotarujishin thank you! She really is :)
  • I love to hear of all hopes in dogs.

    Squish for me please.
  • @hinata23 Must be a shikoku thing as both of mine do the same thing that you describe. Kuma is the worst and he really only wants to be outside if I am outside, otherwise he will bang on the door and bark. Sachi will stay out longer but she will often stand by the door and woof quietly until I come out. Once I am outside they are content to stay out.

@Edgewood I think it's way cute! Thanks for letting me know that it's normal. I was worried that it had to do with her being scared of the house or yard. I'm glad to know she just wants me out with her! :)

ChoCho is doing ALOT better now that we moved out of my in-laws' house (she was terrified of them). She has been a lot more affectionate with us, more playful, and more comfortable! She's almost a completely different dog! She even started being more protective of us and my parents house. She now barks (backs hairs up and everything) when there's someone at the door, instead of running and hiding like she did while we were in Utah. She now loves to sleep with us, whereas before we had to carry her onto the bed where she would stay for a while and then jump off to go sleep her crate. She's also jumping on the couches and napping on it while we watch TV... something we've been trying to get her to do for the past 5 months, but she was never comfortable doing it before moving to Miami. We've only been here for 3 weeks and she has changed SO MUCH! Can't wait to see how she does in a month or so!

-Moments before she rolled off the bed LOL Her expression as she was falling was priceless HAHAHAHA She was OK :)
  • Soo beautiful! Glad she is doing much better. It definitely sounds like she is more comfortable.
  • That Goro/Cho pic is sooooo cute! She is absolutely beautiful! So glad she's getting more comfortable.
  • We were sitting outside looking at an Ikea magazine when Chocho decided she wanted to eat it LOL

    photo2
  • She looks great!
  • @Hinata23 That's awesome to hear that ChoCho is liking it down there in Miami! She's super cute too, especially that pic of munching on the Ikea catalogue haha. That picture of the two of them chewing their cow hooves is adorable, do they do that lot?

@cezieg thanks :) They do it sometimes, but while playing. That was the first time I saw them doing it while relaxing and for more than 5 mins!
  • Glad she is doing better it was probably hard for her to be in the previous house and in the new house she feels safer.

I love the one where Goro is laying on top of her so cute.
  • I just laughed out loud and scared my boss after seeing that IKEA photo! :)

Glad she is settling in and doing better in the new house.
  • She's really starting to "come out of her shell", huh? That's great news!

Now is ChoCho really cleaning Goro's ears or telling him a secret? It looks like she is whispering something to him, lol.
  • She looks great! Glad she's settling in well. And I love the pic of Goro on her too! Leo tries to get on Oskar like that, but Oskar is not that patient with it most of the time.
  • That's neat! Way to go ChoCho! The pictures are cool, especially that last one XD
  • I'm so happy for you and little ChoCho!! She's so adorable. All the pics are just priceless. She looks so happy!

I think my fav is her silly sit! Goro on top of her is too cute too.

@tjbart17 Thanks! She's warming up to us more and more each day. I really think the move has helped her a ton. It's insane how much. I kind of feel bad about having kept her at the in-laws' for so long. I'm glad I pushed to leave when we did. They had been gone for 6 weeks when we left... Although Chocho literally checked Jeff's dad's office and the kitchen for his mom everyday she was somewhat comfortable in the house after 3 weeks. But NOTHING like Miami! She was more comfortable after being in my parents' house for 1 hr than she EVER was in Utah. Love her so much. :)

@ShikokuSpirit LOL yeah, she cleans his ears ALL THE TIME! Whenever he's still and she's around, there is always some ear cleaning going on. She has been doing this since he was 8 weeks old! :)

@sunyata hahahahahahahaha I'm glad that picture made someone laugh! It cracked me up as well!
  • So happy to see she is doing so well! :o)
