He's looking so cute with his bat ears, lol. He should grow into them, I've noticed that a lot of dogs have over-sized ears at that age and they normalize as they get older. Heck, my Tikaani's ears were huge when he was 5-8 months, almost GSD-ish, but they started to fit right when he was a little over a year old.
As always, Goro is very cute! Those ears are adorable. It reminds me of when my Border Collie was a puppy. Her ears were HUGE and they bent in toward one another, and formed (kind of) a triangle, so I called them her "tent ears." Her ears ended up tiny and not even remotely prick at all (haha, the joy and mystery of Border Collie ears).
Oh, he's so cute with his fruit bat ears! And he really has a noble look in that first one! And it looks like his legs are getting long too!
I was thinking about him today, liking to carry things, because Leo went out to pee, but he took his water bottle (new favorite toy) with him and carried it even while he was peeing, and I remembered you saying Goro likes to carry things!
@hondru LOL the Christian Bale part was pretty funny! He acts tough most of the day, but when it comes to food he whines like a little sissy! lol
@shibamistress That's really funny about the water bowl! Goro tries to take out his bully stick and his toys at the same time (all in his mouth) at 6am. Since he still hasn't completely figured out that carpet isn't grass, I usually carry him to the back door and he drops them on the way hahahaha. Leo and Goro are pretty silly. I wonder how the other pups are doing.
I'm still carrying Leo out too. He can't go down the stairs yet, though he can go up (he sleeps upstairs) and also, our Akita is not terribly patient with him (he also sleeps upstairs) so I need to carry Leo out. But he struggles--we joke that he is a toddler now and is saying "I'm not a baby! I can do it!" but of course he can't really get down the stairs. (And I don't want him disappearing in our rather large wooded yard at 6 am.)
@shibamistress I guess it's comforting to hear that Leo is waking up at 6am too! The last couple of nights Goro has been wanting to pee at 4:30 and then again at 5:45 for breakfast! The first thing we taught Goro was to go up and down the stairs (he sleeps in the basement with us). We tempt him with his food and he follows us while barking and howling all the way down! It's way cute. He does bunny steps (front legs/back legs together) and one hop at a time. We have thick carpets stairs, so that might be why he feel safe doing it. Goro use to struggle at first, but I use since we try to get him use to being carried he doesn't mind as much and is fine to be carried to the door. It's when I struggle to hold his almost 20 pound butt and open the door at the same time that he starts to struggle. :P
