This thread is a great idea. Love all the pictures of the fur kids and non-fur kids! Here's something Megan and I made for the Rescue table at this year's Shiba National.
Here's our 10 inch long Pleco with a little Oto on his head:
since someone started posting toys, I bought this G-I Joe X-30 Jet off ebay 20 dollars and got it in the mail last week it was made in 1986, I was 7 years old and alway wanted this toy, Long story short 22 years later I own it!!! this jet bring me joy just looking at it, I even play with it in my kitchen for 1-2 minutes!!! Some day if I have a kid it be his or her toy too!!
i never get sick of that video either! he's just about as big as Tsuki was when she came home to us. Creamies are freaking adorable pups!! And Tsuki was just as nuts!
however, i think long haired shiba pups overload the cuteness factor: Meet Takumi (http://redshiba.wordpress.com/) Can you just see the attitude??!
Thanks, Brad. Mika is a pretty girl and sooooooo sweet....she's just so baaaadddd. Hehe. That's one of my favorite puppy videos, Brad. Maui is just a tad bigger than the shoes in the background!
Since this is the happy thread, I was very happy on this day, and Kuma looks happy too. This was the day we drove back home from Spain after we got him.
I was hoping to get a video of my ferrets playing. There's nothing more entertaining than the weasel war dance. Unfortunately, my camera isn't working properly. Instead, here are some sleepy ferrets.
Am loving this thread... finally going to add something.
First one is our little rescue tabby Muta sleeping next to me. He's got the cutest little pink paws. They feel like baby skin :P
Next one is a pic from Tokyo (Akihabara to be exact) the other day. There was a guy standing in front of a store that sells glasses, on a soapbox (with his shoes off of course!), rapping about glasses. He has his own little sign there that introduces him as McNabe-chan the rapper. He was up there all day rapping away about sunglasses, contact lenses, and reading glasses... it was good for giggles
Wow--- I think the best thread ever! Love all the pics of the puppies and the doggies and the funny humans... Well, I have to admit even the iguanas are handsome, even though I ordinarily am not so good with lizards, snakes or other reptiles! But I have to say the beagles and the shrimps are some amazing photos! Its hard to pick favorites among them all, but I think these two are it!
I forgot to take the video cam on that day, but I got my wife to take a vid with her mobile. I'll see what the quality is like once I get it on the com. But yeah, really dorky, but I felt like I was watching the evolution of marketing or something. I'd love to have that on my resume 'rapped for 3 years on soapbox in Akihabara'.
Were people actually buying his stuff? I think I would haha Just to tell the story; "I bought this from Mc*Nabe-Kun-San-Chan, a soap-box rapper from Akihabara..."
Mind you, I made a huge deal of it, I got Coda a week after I put my 16 year old Persian down ( in Feb ) and my 6 year old German Shepherd/Rottweiler down in January ( both in 2007 ). This was also a week before my birthday.
Coda was my birthday present for my 17th birthday, Toby was my birthday present ( from myself ) for my 18th birthday. Its been a rough few years, I really needed to surround myself with animals again to heal. I'm so glad to have them both.

Kaddy - She's getting big ~
This video of Toby puppy always made me smile. I'm also uploading a video of my cat as a kitten.
